Latest News

1st June 2010: Just a small update to fix the second PFv2 slideshow from the Gallery. There are no new pictures on there, but Kaffo rearrange his Photobucket so that the displayed album no longer has random pictures at the start. A also updated the PFv2 main page. Take a look if you're interested, and it will be updated with more stuff soon.

11th April 2010: With The Discovery about to enter Beta 2, I have finally found the pictures from Beta 1 which I had meant to upload months ago when I first took them. Now I have done so, and updated the PFTD Gallery with a slideshow of the new pictures. Phtobucket have changed their slideshow design, but hover over the picture for controls in the bottom left, and click on it to view the full size pictures on Photobucket itself.

28th February 2010: Over the last month or so, I have been uploading plans of Planetfall's decks. They can be found in the PFv2 Gallery.

Since the last update, I have also created a new SVN for all of my non-PF betas. Puzzler part 1 and 2 are pretty much finished, and the lobby only needs a little more work for v1. Finally, I have also begun work on Cerberus v2. Until the first beta is released thoughm this will be the only mention of it.

6th December 2009: Updated the PFv2 gallery with a new animation of a possible new power indicator.

23rd November 2009: Planetfall v1-7 has been reuploaded (at last), and the link has been updated. Also changed all of the galleries to use the embedded slideshows rather than grids of tiny pictures. The grids and full size pictures can still be seen by going to photobucket (click on the slideshow).

27th October 2009: Okay, so due to server issues, lazyness and lack of people bugging me, the Planetfall Assault event has not yet occured. However, it has NOT been cancelled. Snake Doctor is soon to be getting a new, super fast, 40-slot server which he will allow us to use as a 24/7 Planetfall server. Therefore, if any of you see him, you are required by law to hug him, then stalk him for the next few days saying 'THANK YOU' until you lose your voice.

So yeah, hopefully the new server will be up soon, and I have a pretty nice upload speed from uni, so I should be able to get it set up with EVERYTHING really fast. I've also uploaded a guide for PFv1-6, including the original storyline, some info and the new storyline to the PFv2 Guide section, remade the menu structure so that it doesn't suck and added a short bit of storyline to the Cerberus Guide section. Oh, and I've updated the Puzzler section to include part 2... And removed the links to the forums which no one ever used/uses, including me. No idea why I put it on there in the first place actually.

13th August 2009: This Sunday will be the second type of event for Planetfall. We're calling it a Planetfall Assault, but it will hopefully be a lot of different scenarios being played out across the day. I intend to take pictures and possibly even videos, then post them here along with a brief commentary of what we actually did. You can take a look at the Event Information here.

24th March 2009: Within the next few days, the first ever Planetfall Run event will begin!

20th March 2009: Several small updates. Most importantly, the PFV2 pictures are now in the gallery. The map pages also have links to both their download locations and their threads on various forums. Finally, this is a warning I should have put on the original:

Please note: This website will NOT work correctly on Internet Explorer - The menus on the left will not expand so you won't be able to reach half of the pages. If you want to see the whole website, get Firefox!

As for the map, I still haven't got that stupid tank working. However, I added a little bit to the exterior of the ship and the ground base, started work on the landscaping (lots of hills in some places) and made part of an entrance to an network of underground tunnels.

4th March 2009: Okay, so, I have finally got around to making a Planetfall website! Well okay, Kraven bought out the webspace, for which I am VERY grateful, but he was very busy with other things so it was down to me to actually make the site, thus the delays. Anyway, I have done some basic stuff for this first version. Considering that I started with an old website which SUCKED, I think it's doing pretty well. I replaced the old menu with a half decent one, redid the colours and fonts... It will probably be fairly empty for a while, but take a look around the other pages and see what's there.
