Planetfall RPPlanetfall RPThis isn't the full V2 guide, mainly because V2 isn't finished... Also because I'm lazy. However, I figured I should at least point out the main differences in storyline between this and the original PFv1 storyline, otherwise everyone else will keep bugging me about it. In fact, they probably still will, but this way I can just link them here.
Anyway, rather than Planetfall being the only one of its kind, there were in fact two of them built. The first one (actually named Planetfall) was sent out several years before construction started on the second. However, contact was lost with Planetfall, and several months later, the planet where they were building the second one was attacked. The second ship managed to escape, but since they hadn't had time to finish all of the systems, they were forced to dock at an immense alien space station orbiting a small planet, hidden inside a nebula.

When the second ship finally emerged from the nebula, it had been almost completely changed. An organic alien mass had spread through the majority of the ship, destroying anything that got in its way, including the crew. It was now controlled by an immensly complex AI known as Emnisia. She took the ship in search of others for her to infect, but instead found the original Planetfall. Despite the alien mass reinforcing the hull, making the ship far stronger, Planetfall had far more formidable weapons. Emnisia barely managed to disable Planetfall's engines, then download herself into a fighter and escape before her ship crashed to the surface of a nearby planet.
Without main engines, Planetfall was slowly dragged towards the same planet, but managed to enable the anti-gravity pods before they crashed, allowing them to hover just inside the atmosphere. Seeing that the planet was already inhabited by a long-forgotten human colony, they began flying smaller ships down to the ground in hopes of finding the crash site of the other ship, and possibly even the components they needed to repair their engines...
